The other half does not know yet. She is fast asleep. Was going to buy Zena’s old bus a few months ago. I have been buying Classic van and pick-up for about 6 years watching cheap vans pass me by as I had no garage. Now we have moved I have been bidding on ‘Tax Free’ Austin/Morris J2's and 152's, Thames 400s, Bedford CAs and Commers. May as well have a look at this ‘75 Commer and see if I can bring it back to its former glory, (as if I didn't have enough priorities already with 3 kids and stacks of house renovation on the list). I will post any pictures if I start welding and spraying.
There’s a 152 coming up on ebay next month from a classic dealer, which is worth about 4 grand.

I was the highest bidder on the red Thames yesterday and it didn’t reach the reserve. Hopefully this van will need less time and welding.
Hi jimi and congrats on your purchase[8D] and if i havent said it before...welcome to the madhouse
Hi all, Jimi has done what most of us petrol heads do, has bought a Camper the day before he is to go on Holiday for a week with Wife and Nipper.
Have agreed to keep it on my Drive for another week for him as he had no way of getting to me tomorrow, Wife is having driving lessons and he was just really already booked up for the Day, we have all done it, well i know i have , have contacted my other Van and told it, it will have to wait to come home, if i am passing in that direction peeps this week i will dive in and get pics on here, can't wait to show it off
If not i'm not that way we will all have to wait
