Very Nice....

I love that bed idea. Completely blocks the cab off, love it.

DUKE!

Just read the listing again and in the questions someone said they brought it via the 'Buy it Now' on the second listing - which isn't being honoured. I feel so sorry for whoever it was - that would of been steal!

someone is either going to get a really good van or be really dissapointed, personally i wouldnt bid as the DVLA details dont match the listing, cant see the dvla getting the engine details wrong as 2300cc relates to humbers and walkthrus and has never been in our commers, very very strange!!!!!

Agree with Fontaine, just read the questions and I think the chap feels very disapointed/angry with the seller. Don't blame him though, if you click on the 'Buy it now' it should be yours.

Someone else been had by Fleabay....

The whole car buying process on eBay is such a joke. It's fine for smaller cheaper items, but cars really show up the greed/sefishness of (too many) individuals. eBay should set up some form of penalty for ending an auction early. They seem to have managed extract money from pretty much every avenue anyhow [}:)] [}:)]

I'd almost prefer to go back to the days when all you had to go by was a small ad in the back of the local rag!! At least you didn't get any of this silliness!

Well Ebay has new rules, if a seller doesn't honour a winning bid then they can be reported to Ebay and Ebay shall refund the buyer shall be refunded by Ebay the amount they bought the item for by Ebay, who will then invoice the seller for the amount!

We've gone for 4 campers on ebay, we've tried bidding, making offers, trying to get them finished early but have been had every time. I think the best way to buy any vehicle is to find one advertised privately, you can go and take a look, have a chat with the vendor and know that someone else won't outbid you at the last minute.

Just hope it is as good as he says it is.. or someone won't be happy at all... Feel sorry for the guy who has already bought it, buy it now. Very unfair...:(

Cazz... student commerade!!!!

This van had a bid up to £4150 a few moments ago and now it is back to £3850!? Can you retract bids?....something very strange with this listing (x3)

I don't think I've ever seen a Commer sell for this much! I hope it's as good as it looks in the pictures and that we get to see more of it on the forum in the future.

sorry I didn't reply to your text jon!I was in the car on the way home & when I got here I had a visitor they have just gone!
I hope you are joking [:0]

We will fight tooth and nail to keep it after all this hardwork. We need the time to enjoy it and let all the problems bugger off! My dad, well he is not joking. But as i said i will look for more work in order for us to keep it. I'm not getting enough work consistantly, which is what the problem is - as i'm sure Tim will agree. Being your own boss, espescially at the minute is a bit tough!! It may come down to the van or the cameras [:0][xx(]

We've certainley not got £5400 to be splashing around on a new van [xx(]:(, otherwise that J4 would soon be parked here (or likely at yours once we'd broken it ;))

I think once you start getting out in Fontaine you will fall in love all over again ;)I don't think you will part with her if I thought there was the slightest possibility you would,...I would of made a stupid offer you couldn't resist ;)
There was a wanderer very nice one too sold for more if my memory serves me well 5,500?
I think it was the permanantly made bed lay out that was appealing in this van & the fact it was a PA was a bonus [8D]

Don't you dare even think of selling Fontaine [:0] or I will have to put 'The Plan' into operation [}:)]

These high priced vans crop up now and again, they are special. But it is the same with any old car - there are examples that are unique and will appeal to the collector and those who seek perfection and originality. They are indeed something to aspire to but when it comes down to it wouldn't you just want your own van the way you want it, with all its faults and foibles after all it is part of you and would you really want to change it.
