very lovely 1974 pb Auto sleeper for sale!

Hello all,

We are very very sad to be selling our lovely 1974 commer pb auto sleeper, however having no garage, and a baby on the way it seems only fair to let her go to the good home that she deserves.

Safari Beige - really nice colour
Chassis has been sandblasted and protected about 8 years ago.
Engine runs very well and smooth- has been compression tested (All cylinders are well and even compression)
Engine has done 200 miles since last service and re-time
Tyres still have lots of tread
Everything works apart from rear door handle mechanism
Body work needs lots of attention.
The main body section is in very good condition
Front doors in very good condition apart from the bottom edge which rotten through
Rear doors in very good condition apart from the bottom edge which rotten through
N/s Rear quarter needs replacement or fabrication.
Roof gutter needs attention - bad in one place but not everywhere.
Sills need attention but not rotten through
Front has rust hole approx 1 inch wide - not too difficult to do.
Most of rust can be sorted by a DIY body worker if you have a week spare.
Doors and rear quarter would need a pro as cannot get the panels new
Interior is in very good condition
Van has been very much cared for apart from rust work
Essentially fantastic van that needs a good weeks work and half a week in a body shop.
WE were thinking around the £1000 mark
If any one is interested email me at [email protected] and (with the help of my technical half) I will endevour to answer any questions.

Thanks Katherine
