i was quite suprised and chuffed today at the nec, as this old van seemed to attract a very strong crowed of people looking around it . the guy called andy who asked me to put it on their stand told me that all weekend people just kept asking if it was for sale. he said he could have sold it twenty times over. so it looks promising. but im not gonna sell it coz i love it and have always wanted one.

i know i know, its just over the last few weeks its been a bit on the tough side with making all the ends meet up financially and mentally,and i was having a very bad day when i wrote up what i said on here, but after sleeping on it for a few nights and thinking to myself ,(once its gone, its gone for good) and theres no going back. ive decided to shut up wineing to myself and im sticking around for a while longer to see where it takes me. oh and the mrs will have to like it and lump it.[?] (he says with confidence as he looks over his shoulder)

Good to hear Woolfy. It'll be a long while before I can afford to do Peggy properly (bodywise). Really need to get a garage built at the new house then sort out my Singer Vogue first. So I really need you to still be producing those panels in a few years time. I may be showing my ignorance here but am I right in thinking it's the jigs/tooling that costs the most? Presumably once you have them the ongoing costs are more manageable? Obviously you need to sell a certain number of panels to pay for the initial investment but at some point you will hopefully be in profit?

unfortunatly we have found a few more holes in the front door step panels which we were un aware of until the paint was removed.i will call you about it over the next few days, but other than that its starting to look good.
