Van Woolf (VW?)

what makes this job even harder than the last ones is that who ever put the ply lining down inside the van and up the sides has also put a thick layer of what looks like underseal all over the floor and up the side of the van, and then they have layed some sort of hessian carpet under lay on top of the underseal before it had set. so this has become stuck to the floor also, and even up the sides of the van as well.it will make a great bonfire if someone isnt watching inside whilst someone does the welding.ive tried to get most of it off but its stuck like shi- to a blanket.;):D

If you get dishartened have a look at Tims slider (cannot posibly be as bad as that)

Featuring a custom 11" ring and pinion gearset designed and manufactured exclusively for M-W by Richmond Gear, the unit is ideally suited to Pro Mod, Nitro Coupe, Pro Street and blown alcohol applications. Rear end ratios of 2.91, 3.89, 4.10, 4.29 and 4.57 are initially offered.

Available for both solid-mount and 4-link suspensions, M-W's full-floater setups feature a series of CNC-machined brackets and end bells to accommodate virtually any existing suspension. The unit has been designed with a hypoid similar to the 9" Ford, so that racers can convert to the new 11" setup, while retaining the same floater end bells, axles, etc. Suspension brackets, etc. can easily be adapted from M-W's 9" Ford housings to the new 11" unit.

The center sections are cast from a tough aircraft alloy aluminum that has been proven effective in M-W's popular modular housings for 9" Ford and 12-bolt Chevy applications.

yes i have been busy over the last few days what with getting patients acoat of paint on, and repairing the other orange and white vans front end. and then my own van got a look in aswell. as you can see the wheel arch is in now and just that rear floor section to weld in along with the outriggers , and then it will be the inner sills ect. i will take a few pics tomorrow of the orange and white vans progress as my batteries went dead earlier today. i think about a week or so and this one will be ready for the paint shop also.;)

yes the orange and white van belongs to a very nice man called james who is a member on here. i think his user name is fdgorilla. like i said hopefully his van will be ready for painting in a week or so. i will take a few more piccies tomorrow.;)

just measured a jag axle woolfy, its 5 1/2" wider. so it may be possible without narrowing, by using wheels with more offset :p
