Hi all

I'm new to the forum, and getting a PB camper ready for MOT and summer action. I was wondering what size tyres you guys fit. I have 175 /r14C's at the moment, but not sure if these are still available (can't find any). The manual says 185/ 14 's will fit.

What do you use, and where did you get them?

mine has 15 inch wheels on it (a Highwayman) i have been told that originally they were fitted with 14 '' then at the factory (highwayman ) they fitted the larger wheels

bingo the penny has dropped could the wheel sizws be the difference everyones noticing in fuel consumption cos were on fifteens and getting 30 to the gallon, we are on mitchelin tyres with camper written on them, try not to use van tyres they have a much harder side wall to cope with weight and wont help with handling much, best speak to good tyre company, preferably not the ones who fit kwikly
 
from memory the carb may have an early version of a k&n filter on it but doesnt have overdrive, i was staggered when i worked it out cos the autohomes and highwaymans have the aerodynamics of a high rise block of flats
