Unable to update email address

I was wondering if anyone (Admin) can help me update my email address, please?I have tried two authentic addresses and get this message:
Your request was not sent due to the following error: The transport failed to connect to the server.
I can change other parts of my profile but not the email address.
My original address was (is) [email protected] but since I retired I have closed this address

You cannot change email address as it is the primary key in the database for you user - what do you want the address changed from and to?
I can change it direct in the database, drop me an email; [email protected] if you would prefer?
