Tyre Pressures

What psi are you chaps putting in your tyres? I've been going for 45psi all round.

Know it'll depend on what tyres you're using, but my fronts still look like they could do with a bit more but don't want to over inflate them (the sunbeam runs 21psi!)

cheers:)

firstly don,t forget if you drive to the garage to check them, then they are warm and the pressure has increased from cold ;)
its best to go over the original pressures as they are refering to 60,s tyre technology. go for 50/45 and see how it feels :)

"you were only supposed to blow the bloody SLIDING doors off"

Thanks for that, i'll squirt a bit more and go for a spin.

I'll try to avoid burn outs, wheel spins and skids on my way to the garage.

I have just increased my tyre presure whilst warm,I had done them last week 45 front 42 rear, whilst putting more in the reading was initially higher than I had put in,now 50 psi front & 45 rear drove home, only a couple of miles roads are apauling [V] seemed a bit better but later have to do approx 18 miles of better road so should know if it really is better or not.
