Just had an email from Geoff. The detection equipment now works, it will detect an analogue tv at 60ft [:0] At the moment he is using a differenent arial, as he needs to rewind the origonals. Also, he has rebuilt the directional equipment, just needs to work out how it is controlled from the console :)

I am not a person, I am a number, 395 actually......Be seeing you!
If I told you I was a pathological liar, would you believe me?

You would really scare the punters in Moffatt this year if you took the Detector Van again [:0]

Last year you lot looked so funny, just like little boys playing out ;)

Martin - Job done! Your Dad will be keeping a watchful eye from somewhere far off and will be proud of all the effort which has gone in to recreating one of his originals.-Priceless! Mike

Well, what can I say.......AMAZING [:0]
Just picked up the Detector from Geoff Cross. He has managed to get the arials rotating and detecting signals. He has even supplied a small tv, that can be used as the target for detecting.
It's even possible to work out what channel is being viewed, by tuning in to the frequency.
So, anyone bringing a portable tv with them next month, make sure you have a licence [}:)]
