Took it for the mot yesterday, FAILED [V] Only on emmisions though, knew I should have put a new carb on, I saw the black smoke, as I was driving it down there :I
Oh well, back on Friday with a new Webber fitted :)

I bet you got a few bemused looks on the way there - and a few in the MOT station (and they're used to you bringing your fleet in):D

I had better warn my sister in the next village to make sure she has her TV licence. (she likes to watch Columbo!) :D

Well, I think everything went ok today. The DVLA checked all the paperwork, took my money and said the tax disc will be with me in a couple of days :)
So, hopefully I have managed to retain the original reg number and only 2 trips to the DVLA :I The fire engine took 3 trips and I didn't get to keep the old number [V]

A triumph for common sense - how could they even consider changing the plate on such a unique vehicle[^]
