TV Detector-More is less!

The lobotomy is of particular interest to me as this is the main bit I need to do, loads of pics when you have them please.
 
Have loads of balsa from my aeromodelling days, I'll have to collect the rest :I

I replaced the underneath panel with a new one, then repaired the gutter. The whole peak came off fairly easy, I made a fine cut above each windscreen pillar, again on the inside, by the sunvisors and straight accross the roof. Because the front of the peak was rotten it came away easily :)
 
Not much to look at this weekend, spent a lot of time finishing of the roof, front panel and dash panels.

I was thinking the same [}:)]what with the weather about to change for the worst,nice warm workshop to tempt them,even woolfy can weld now :)
 
haha that is so bloody hilarious!...poor old number 5 is in for a shock isnt he!...

You'll need to get a pair of horn rimmed specs and a tub of Brylcreem as period accessories for the DV;)
 
Thats' wonderful Martin, well found - and well done on progress, will have to remember to unplug my tele soon once you're back in business[8)]
 
who knows that commer in the programe might even be your van that your rebuiling ,shame we couldnt see thenumber plate.nice find though mart.;):p
