Tuning

Rite ive been told on these 6 speed boxes and even sourced one. How hard are they to fit and are they much better than the overdrive?
 
It's quite involved and needs the Commer bell housing welding onto the six speed box and a special gear change linkage fabricating (among other things). That's why we leave it to Tim (Commeracer) to do the job - he's dead good at that sort of stuff and has the jigs already set up:)
 
Yer wouldn't recommend diy on this. Tim's done loads and plenty of engineering. Will end up costing as much in mistakes and welding. Minimum get the full kit sent to you if that's an option and did want to diy it
