YES YOU ARE CORRECT,ITS THE INSIDE OF THE FUEL TANK FROM MY 1968 SINGER VOGUE ESTATE,IT SUDDENLY SUFFERED TOTAL FUEL DELIVERY FAILURE SO OFF CAME THE TANK AND WE MANAGED TO GET A COUPLE OF PICTURES THRO THE FILLER NECK,THE WHOLE OF THE INSIDE LOOKS AS THO IT HAS BEEN PAINTED WITH NITROMORS AND IS WAITING TO BE STRIPPED OFF,THE YELLOWY BIT IS WHERE THE PAINT HAS FALLEN OFF AND IS GOING RUSTY.
ITS GOT TO BE UNLEADED FUEL THATS CAUSING THIS PROBLEM,EVEN THE SENDER UNIT HAD SEIZED WITH RUST.
THIS IS A PROBLEM THATS NOT GOING TO GO AWAY,TIM LOOKS AS THO HES GOING TO BE VERY BUSY WITH HIS ALI TANKS
