i dont get cam, crank in relation to dizzy timing...so got the engine back today from the second strip down (had washed the bores due to rich running and thinks this affected oil pressure) have rehoned, replaced rings and mains again... I now have engine and the gearbox in the van. I then noticed the dizzy is pointing the wrong direction (the vacuum advance pointing forwards) so may hit the push rod cover when fine tuning the timing. Anyway is it possible to spin in 180 degrees and then switch ht leads about as the connection to the oil pump is central on the dizzy or will that cock up the crank and cam timing?
cheers
