One of my old vans!
I bought this last year, it was a 2 owner van with a genuine 26k miles but the diesel engine had clearly been seized at some point and not freed off properly which caused two of the cylinder liners to crack. I could not find a good original diesel engine to fit so bought an MGB GT engine which was a straight swap for the diesel. You are right about the interior it is absolutely as new, the cooker and sink had never been used!
I sold the van last March and was very surprised to see it for sale on Ebay so quickly but someone will get a cracking camper.
