well we managed to get out for a few hours at least...Baiter Park, it was very windy when we parked up right on the beach so we moved a couple of hundred yard inland ..you can just see the sailing bots in the background. There were a lot of kites being flown, i'm not sure what you call them but basically they have a skateboard strapped to their feet and the kite pulls the owner along and up into the air at times

i got it untested for free and its on the van...it engages very smoothly but is very reluctant to disengage, the general idea seems to be that the cone clutch is worn....I'm leaving it alone for now and wont use it. I will take the box out again at the end of the season and take it from there....I have gathered lots of relevant info from other car clubs forums that use the same gearbox, so that will be my winter project

well, with half term upon us, Tigger and the boys have been nagging me for a few days out next week, so we put Tigger to work today to earn himself some petrol money[8D]
After a good days takings he was feeling rather pleased with himself and excitedly headed home to count his fuel money.....As gently as I could, I eased him over 2 sleeping policemen and grounded the exhaust on them both, causing it to blow a little[xx(] we had a much noisier journey home with a distinct loss of power[!][V]
Oh, well, it's my stupid fault..When I got my RC40, a so called mate was spose to weld it on for me and let me down week after week after week so i decided to fit it myself using exhaust clamps....as a result the exhaust was hanging suspiciously low..(it was on my to do list to get it sorted)...hey, ho, it has now jumped to top of the list now:I:I
