Tigger's Bouncing!!!!

its very much like that roof but with only one roof light:)

If I remember my conversions correctly the extra rooflight was added to the bodies fitted to the later Glendale conversions on the Bedford CF:)

Well, the opaque one is above the shower tray and the smoked one above the galley:)

But that's not the reason for the roof pic...:I

Ahh... very much a similar roof to ours then, with three transverse joints, which a previous owner chose to cover with denso tape on ours.
Now then, Panky's depth of knowledge was correct again, as our later Glendale had the high level side light moved to the roof:)
But if he'd of looked a bit closer at these marked areas...

:D:D
I too thought impact hole but even closer inspection shows a fixing minus the head

This has dripped into the overcab every shower since july on our travels and only just discovered it as Ive been checking the seams and it looks like bird dropping at a glance:I
Just thought I'd mention it Glendale a Glendale;)

Best of all and I'm quite proud of myself as I have never done them before...I adjusted the tappets ....4 times:I:I before I finally got them right...boy, what a difference though:D[8D][8D]:D

Thanks John:) the first time I think i faffed about so much the engine got cold..it sounded awful lol ...was I doing something wrong? for example to adjust no1 exhaust with no4 exhaust fully open.......so you turn the engine to get no4 exhaust at its highest point right? but there so much inpreccission...I found it quite difficult to decide at what point to actually adjust no1 ..in the ned I got it to where I reckoned was as close as poss the actually inserted the feeler guage and continued turning the engine back and forth until the loosest fit was achieved...then adjusted the tappet. does that make any sence?

The rule of 9, you adjust No1 when No8 is fully open, adjust No2 when 7 is fully open etc. But if you've got them sorted eventually all's good:)

i just followed the sequence as stated in the manual...it wasnt the order that baffled me, just at how inprecise it all seemed considering the gap that needed setting is only 0.014'' for eg!

You did it, that's the main thing[8D]
I can remember setting the clearances on my Viva's - you did it with the engine running and had to 'feel' the right gap by pulling the feeler gauge through, there was oil everywhere[xx(] If you had any wear on the rocker (which was normal) the feeler gauge didn't last long:I
