Well, not some news I was expecting to announce - some of you will be in on this - but I have to tell you guys that Babs will be moving on to pastures new tomorrow. She's going to go and live with John in Bishop's Stortford, and as soon as he get her, she will be going into the bodyshop to have some much needed restoration work done to her. I hope John will keep us up to date with what he's doing to her....
It's been a hard decision, but as I am moving to Spain next year it make sense to sell her. She's not really big enough for me, Ruth and the kids, and the steering wheel is on the wrong side.
So, for the time being I am going to be Commerless. However, I will be keeping my eyes out for another one - so if anyone gets a sniff of a coach built left hand drive Commer/Dodge - I'd be delighted to hear from them. Maybe there are some more hiding in Belgium - but I'd also need a lawnmower for one of those.

Crikey that was quick:I but as you planned to sell anyway I suppose best to get it done as soon as possible before you had time to chance your mind. I can't imagine there will be many Commers out in Spain but good luck in your search and don't you desert us now, tinterweb still works out there

I will get back into Commers, when I find the right one. Bab's really deserves to go to someone who's got the money to spend on her right now - I won't be able to do anything for quite a while so she's better off as far as I can see. For now I will content myself getting the Super Minx on the road.
I will be at some meets, but probably not all that many for now. You're more likely to see Babs, I would hope.

Typically, John - AKA V-Dub-Convert - got home with Babs without any incidents. For once she actually behaved, typically as soon as she goes she starts to behave. Glad she's in good hands and will be getting the work done she deserves.
