The time has come . . .

Well it's been about a month now since I first set-eyes on my little commer and it's now time to bring her home:D:D. I feel like a kid at Christmas. I'm going to get her tomorrow afternoon!!

The first and only time I've driven her was for a 1 mile test drive - as documented in my youtube video.

I only have to drive her home about 25 miles but after reading stories of first time driving experiences on here I have everything crossed for a successful maiden voyage.

I'm also off for the next 10 days so cannot wait to get playing with my new toy - pictures to follow :)

Best wishes for your trip home[8D], i'm sure it will be grand and you'll be grinning all the way.:D:D;);)

back to my "rootes"

good luck m8. hopefully you wont need it ;) exciting eh lol

The drive home was so much fun! :D The guy I bought her from took me on a last run-out before he let her go and he had no problem putting the foot down. That gave me a bit of confidence for the drive home. I had to learn to ease-off round corners and drop a gear or two going up hills but I think we made a top speed of 52 mph!!:p I figured out the knack to finding third gear and totally loved the drive. She gave me no problems at all . . .match made in heaven I'd say :)
