Reached a humble landmark in the weldathon today - got the first visible bit back on:). Repaired drivers step now back on the van (more plates than a Greek wedding:I) Is the first of the external metalwork going over the mountains of layers replaced underneath.

Sadly no photos as yet of the happy occasion but will hopefully get a couple I can get onto pooter over next couple of days.

My first visible panel,pre filler stage - poor old step's got lots of plates in but shape beyond my humble skills to make complete panel so had to patch what I had.

Am currently working through the apparent machine gun fire that put lots of little holes in me drivers side[B)]:I hoping to treat myself to a new side skirt too:)

i say kes that welding and step looks great, if only the rest could be said about poor old bessie,this looks all to familier with mine. but hey never mind like they used to say on the six million dollar man,( we have the technology to rebuild him).looking good keep it up.;):p
