An articulated lorry driver jumped out of his cab as I tried to push her unsuccesfully off the road,shouting "no don't do that!here you go" & pushed her to safety [^]what a nice man,he knows how to treat a lady [}] just can't afford the fuel or any thing else at the moment [V]) - hadn't really looked at how it attached before so was surprised at the white no-nails blobby type stuff holding it to van bodywork. Can't tell if it is screwed down and covered in sealant or if only held on with blobs. Other end tucks neatly up under roof and seal - sorry couldn't get any closer, imagine it screws to roof next to hinge.

- and the drive is at the back of the house Some bits came out really well and others are perfect examples of beginners mistakes - my biggest trouble so far is getting the feel for welding two different thicknesses together - i.e. bodywork to chassis without burning through the thinner metal. Glyn managed to give me a couple of pointers before he escaped for the weekend - perhaps pics might be good for some advice on how to get it better.[8)]
)] didn't like it....I did metal work at school loved making stuff,but use to pass the welding on to the lads I guess old habbits die hard [}]I did get a good pass though i am sure it cant be any worse than some of the welding on chinese m/cycle frames... truely shockingly bad [:0]
