look at all that loverly grinder grit all over the floor there, i love it when youve just finished a good day of grinding and you have a bath but forget to wash out your ears.when you get an itch and find half a kilo of dust in there. its great.:p:I

Almost as good as a squirt of grease up your left nostril and a dose of arc-eye......bliss :)

Jon's panel looks really good - I did the same repair but used flat panels, well it was under the wardrobe floor:I

I like a blob of weld down the inside of my boot to be honest... it bounces around a little bit until it comes to rest in your instep. Bliss!

good work there Jon, looking forward to seeing it in the flesh!

been lucky with the ear thing so far but have a few melty marks to show off proudly as battlescars:D long hair's really good at catching grinding dust, even when tucked in it can soak up plenty to keep the floor nice & tidy at the end of the day.:)

Your panel looks superb Jon, puts mine to shame:I - excellent stuff, how was the chassis end under panel?

Not to bad just the top section a bit rusty but cut it out and repaired it will have to take you a shot from underneath next time im under there!!;)

glad to hear underneath pretty good - mine had problems both sides where floor panel had gone and let water sit in chassis[V] problem seems to have been water trapped in chipboard floor & dripping through 2 fixing screws into chassis underneath - did the van have the same sort of arrangement? from what I've seen of the potential damage I can't recommend enough to anyone doing away with chipboard from those corners and letting it breathe. Can't get over how good your repair looks Jon, superb[8D]

Fingers crossed you van doesn't give you too much to do - but definitely in safe hands - welding can be a bit of a commer owner essential, that and a lot of dedication[^]:D
