Your tyres are to wide and to a higher profile for the size of wheel your using. Ive got 9x15 on the back with a 225/50/15 and it fits perfect with no stretch so yours on 7inch wheels must have alot of tyre over hanging the rim.

Did a few mods to the air filter box today and its made a hell of a difference to fuel consumption and power its like a different van[:0]Drives along the road loads smoother to.
I removed the exhaust heat pipe and welded it flush,removed the flap mech inside,chopped the breather inlet off and welded it up,cut the end off where it draws in air to make the opening bigger but rounded the edge off like the original.When i fitted it back on I rotated the base plate towards the inner arch to draw the cold air ducted from the front so its not pointing at the radiator.I recon its better than the K&N cone idea which ive also tried and ran worse. Will puta pic on when i get 5mins

Did a fridge mod as well always wanted a 240v and 12v fridge for it but there silly expensive for the size thats fitted to an auto sleeper.I picked a 240v one off ebay and fitted the old element off the 12v gas one that i had on the side of the 240v one so now 2way fridge
Fitted my tow bar from watling tow bars not the best fit in the world considering my van is fully original on all the mounting points.Had to do a fair bit of grinding and drilling to the tow bar to get it to fit.Didnt like the back bit that fits on the tank seam bolts so made a new section for it,alot stronger and went all across the back of the tank.
Just got to make me a new step for the back now that fits over the bar.
Give my trailer a spot of paint work to match the van to.
My door panels were looking a bit tired so mate some new ones out marine ply and trimmed them in black.
Wanted to put some more gauges in the dash but so it didnt look out of place did a mod using old spray can lids and fibreglass on a spare dash panel that was all taty to see what it looked like.

I bought an 230V ellement from ebay and fitted to the fridge in Gladys when I open the back of the fridge there was a slot to fit the ellement and it works a treat on electric I have also got a inverter so the fridge also runs on the leasure battery
