Hi, we are Colin (Enigma)and Cazz,
We decided a little while ago that we wanted a classic camper van! After searching all over the web, had our minds set on a, dare i say it on here, VW camper! However we then saw a commer on Ebay and fell in love with them.
Colin's dad had one yrs ago, and he has many lovely memories of holiday's in it. Not sure if that one has survived though? [V]
So now the search and the saving begins for a commer that the whole family can love and have loads of fun with, as well has owning and saving a little piece of history.
We have found this site amazing and packed full of advice and info, so Thank you...:D

Any advice or knowledge of any for sale will be most welcome

hello - welcome aboard!
now is probalby a good time to get one - end of season so a litle cheaper. Where abouts are you? there seem to be a fair few vans down south, but I'm guessing the prices are higher. The bargins (if you can find them) would be in less easy to get to places.

do you have a preference or coacbuilt or van based one?

Hi all... Seen a few advertised today down here 4 between 1600 and 3500, so may go and have a look...Not sure which type we really like, i guess it depends on the feel of it when we see it, if that makes sense??? Think we would prefer one that hasn't got the sliding side door as they seem more practical..
We a haven't got one yet Debs, i wish... it was Colin's dad that used to have one!!!
 
if you find a slinding door one I'm sure there will be a few folk on here who would bite your hand off!

Lol They don't slide do they... opening door on the side then!!! As you can tell, have a lot to learn :D
