Got a little bit done today. Started on the fitout for the tilt n slide seats and storage compartments. It is all built from 3mm mahogany face ply with a 15mm square timber frame. Its super light and remarkably strong. All glued and pinned.

Well...alright then, maybe just a little...

Your interior work looks every bit as good as the mechanical and body parts (oo er missus) you've completed[8D]

A long day in the garage today:)
Made a decent start on the interior fitout by getting the two folding seats built. CI is back in business:D

Hi Ian and welcome to the madhouse[8D] I 'think' there was some talk about Martin Maltas producing 'flat pack' kits for interior, but I wouldn't swear to it:I

Why not post a couple of pics of your van and start a new thread in Readers rides and tell us all about it[8D]

Its the Queens Birthday which is a state holiday here so a great chance to spend a bit of time in the garage getting the internal fitout of Iceman a bit further along.
Finished off the two folding/sliding forward facing seats and then got stuck into building the slide out double bed. This was a bit of a mind bender to design as i had only a old photo and no measurments to go on and i want4ed it to be as close as possible to the original. I am really happy with the way it turned out and i am surprised at just how strong it is and how easy it slides in and out.
Anyway here are a few pix for youe delectation:)[8D][^]

The weather has come right at last and so i ventured down to the garage for a few hours this weekend.
Got stuck into building the sink bench and also sorted the stove. I have altered the original design of the unit to have a slightly angled front. This takes up very little extra room but allows a wider work area and a bigger SINK.

Best Commer sink I have seen - even has a proper trap, not a bendy bit of hose. Proper job! ;)
