The End of the World?

i read once that the universe is literally littered with tiny black holes which masquerade as the nuclei of innocent atoms periodically swallowing one of their electron swarm giving the appearance of having metamorphosed into a different element altogether ..

once they run out of elctrons, they just .. um .. forgot

ah max planck,s quantum mechanics, quite interesting as you need fewer spanners, and less bruised knuckles :D

thats the one, was in new scientist a couple of years ago.. fascinating stuff.

had a good chat with a string theorist i met on a train once, i'd just finished reading up on M theory, and the random factor of meeting by chance on a train i shouldnt even have been on was quite odd.

any chance you can explain to my other half's employers that a bad interpretation of the multiple worlds theory mixed with faux buddhism is NOT a viable business model ?

er.. not really I'm afraid... however (in my humble opinion) buddism and multiworld theories are things designed to answer questions that can't be answered (or we don't want to ask) (what If I went left instead of right... what happens when I die...). They are like body filler (as I attempt to bring this back to vans!) to do it properly, you have to dig into it, rather than skim over it, and you're never really sure its done properly, and in the big scheme of things ... its utterly futile....

shall I stop being so philosophical now and go to bed!

Left turn/right turn - that was the theme of a Dr Who episode in the last series (sorry to bore you with the only TV drama I bother with) and it demonstrated what could happen if a simple decision like turning left instead of right was made. The story goes that the world descended into chaos and destruction for the simple act of turning the steering wheel a different way, Remember this next time you are out driving - it could change your life, it has become very significant to me - one day it will change mine [8)]

turn a commer steering wheel left and it goes right.....isnt that normal :D

Pretty much, you have got to catch it just right to make the corner :)

'Harvey the RV'

its part of M theory.............MMMMMMYYY GOD IM NOT GOING TO MAKE THIS CORNER [:0]:D

Is that why door handles are so expensive - you wear them out on bends :)

'Harvey the RV'

basically it means they go where they want to regardless of driver input, nothing to worry about :D

The first commer I had experienced slight time anomalies - you'd have to move the steering wheel to roughly where you wanted it about 2 seconds before you needed it to move[:0]

It also experienced some micro black holes that swallowed the cab floor, the bottoms of the doors, the windscreen pillars, the roof line etc etc....

These scientists didn't need to spend all this money on research, I'd have sold them the van for a mere million:D
