How much are you after for the old girl, I'm thinking that a diseasal engine would be good to put in her if I bought it.
If some more pics could be uplaoded of her at some point that would be great as well, although I'm in no great rush.

she didn't sell & a few more bits have been robbed off her since[:0] rot in all the normal places but have seen a lot worse!peak rear corners need work but not terminal imo,there is no interior,no engine or gear box,dash is there but been removed,the long side window has been used for Sybhil,hers is there but the small pane needs replaced it's plastic.We do have pic's but I can't access from laptop,no rush at the moment this end as we can't get to it easily it is being used as a shed for huge lumps so these need moving.(he says he wants it gone so may end up on ebay sooner!)Probably easier to do this with no engine or interior in the way if you are looking for a project this is ideal up to date pic's to follow,...looking for ummmmmmmmmmmm ££££££££££ :p
was £200 last time prices have gone up since then though :D[}:)]:D

I'll have to sort out a day to come down, it's £30 for the cheapest return journey on the train, so ideally I need to get a car on the road first to make the trip cheaper.

Yeah, I also know that I can't afford to buy this week either, lol.
I can't hurt to look though, familiarise myself with what exactly needs doing and whether I'm up to the challenge. Then, if I'm still not deterred, find somewhere I can rent to keep it before handing over some cold hard cash.

I just realised, Jon and Cara are in Melton Mowbray and the price of train tickets there are just over a quid more, lol. I'll hopefully have a car in the next week or two anyway though so I can arrange a visit once that's here.

i'll have a mosey now, the car I'm bidding on is also in Peterborough funnily enough, lol.

£13.10 for an off peak return, that's not bad. :D

Nick, have a look at coach prices as well, Nat'l Express etc are usually cheaper than the train. Couple of years ago I went from London to Mansfield to collect a car. Train, one way was £70. Coach was about £8. Took an hour longer but had the whole back seat to myself so slept most of the way.

You're right on the bus, it is cheaper. A whole £1.10 saving, lol. Plus there's only 1 each way per day so I'm very restricted on travelling times unless I want to sit in Peterborough for a loooong time. Spending time in Peterborough's bus station is never a good idea, 'cos there's a Millies cookies stand at the top of the escalator and I'm fat enough as it is ;)

Do not sit in Boro station man!!! I'd rather pick you up myself and bring you to Stamford station.....Much safer;)

Yeah along with the Millies shop just 5 minutes walk away through Queensgate near Maccy Ds.

No3 don't look that bad from here, although I can see the gutter needs attention all round, lol.
