It's strange - the ambulance looks like it's been there for years, all forlorn and sinking into the ground while Old Bluebell gives a sprightly sideways glance at his (hers) younger companion :)

they look lovely together! I'm guessing the "slam it and waxoyle it" won't be working on the Ambulance?!

i dont think you can slam the ambulance any more than it is already, poor old thing, it must have been all those heavey patients it carried around that wrecked the suspention. but there is some good news i know a man that can supply you with all the nessasary panels to rebuild him or her.;):p
 
I wasn't rubbing it in Martin. Honestly. This is the first time I've ever seen 2 early Commers together. Remember I've not been to see this fabled place they call.....Commerland! :)

The ambulance is a poorly van! but I love it! It's not sinking into the ground. The chassis is sinking into the ambulance! [:0]

Loving the early examples - can I be cheeky and potentially reserve the ambulance's last horizonal chrome bar? I think I have a missing one on the PA and may need to find someone to remake them...

What a catch, M&2 ! Love them both!

The roof on the ambulance has some nice coachbuilt detailing, even though it - admittedly - has seen better days. But a lovely vehicle it still is, I agree.
And for the Bluebell, well, it's just wonderful.

And what a beautiful picture of the two og them together! :)
