very nice mods indeed. which van is that engine in and what engine is it and who does it belong to,? is it wills friends who put the cavalier engine in. and like i said before those rostyle wheels look nice on the blue van.:p;)
 
two engines ones dave & laylas one wills the shiny one being wills both really nicely done vans too [^]want 8 v vauxhall :p:p:p
 
Which engiens and what are they mated up to? Rootes Trans or something modern?
Were they diesel or petrol? My wife wants diesel in mine... I'm leaning twards a 2.3 Volvo lump with matching trans as they are easy to get here in Seattle (loads of Sweeds)
 
Hello, we're back :D We had a smashing time, thanks to all of you for turning up, we had a brilliant time :p Karen will post some pics once we have de-camped. She is nattering me to sort out the throttle cable on 'Chicko', so she can go for a drive, so I will post more later :)

I was in Boscastle the same day as you lot were (I was in the cream coloured bay - sorry I know this is probably a swear word on this site)I took a few photos for a friend of mine who I am sure will join the forum soon, if he hasn't already.

Sitting here full of admiration for the vans on pics its really got me into gear.
Looks like all had a great time the atmosphere comes out from the pics and the weather looked great.
Like the rosstyles and dash mods superb.

What a time to be at the other end of the UK :I Looks like a great meet, and not all the Commers where Martins [:0]. I too have lasting memories of last week but for me it was up in Scotland, I was Commer spotting but the nearest I came was a Dinky model in an antique centre [V]. I saw 1 old(ish) Transit camper, 1 dilapidated Bedford CF and about 50 VWs. Saw loads of nice Minis on the M6 on the way home though [^] no doubt heading for Mini in the park.
Pretty sure one of the Minis had a V8 or similar lurking beneath, the diff showing under the back end and the driver sitting on the back seat was a bit of a give a way

looks like you all had a great time .. sadly i was forced to stay at home due to a complete lack of money :(
