'The Commer File' was produced about 16 years ago by Steve Loveys, for the Classic camper Club. I found a copy amongst paperwork that came with the 'Green Bean'.

Brilliant stuff, Martin !
I've heard about this book/leaflet, but never actually seen it before.

Any chance that larger images could be had, please? I mean, so that it can be read?
Or maybe it's my girlfriend's small mac-screen which is making it impossible to read...
....or me getting too old (more likely) [V]

If I ask you very nicely, maybe you could stick the images in an email across the North Sea? :)
I can send you a couple of hot celsius degrees in excange if you want. Haha :D

Jostein if you go into your view settings and go down to zoom in (do it a couple of times ) and it will help you to read it (hope this helps) interesting reading

good find mart; I would appreciate a copy too

Jos don't be dissing the macs :D:D

John, the mac-issue is somewhat sensitive in this household. I'm trying my best to be a bit laddish about it, but its just a desperate attempt to hide the fact that I really want one as well. Just don't tell my better half that..! [xx(]

Mart, you can send it to [email protected]
Check the weather on the News at ten, and you will see that the temperature in Yorkshire has gone up two degrees [^]

I'm on good terms with The Creator, you see :D

look to be a few familar vans in that lot - is the ebor one yours Martin? sure have seen that article when you bought yours. Amazing booklet, real commer bible stuff.

Would love to have emailables too if possible, and maybe put them on 'articles' archive:)

A great little booklet but I'm a bit puzzled by the comments on page 2 referring to updates in the '70s - Steve says 'including running the front wheels in the same line as the rear' I thought the front track remained it's narrow self throughout the production run - does anyone know different [?]

mmmm, well spotted , very interesting[8)]

also intrigued by the picture bearing bluebird title on first page, always associated name with coachbuilts

Our Wanderer was a Bluebird, same as the Highwayman. It had a little Bluebird badge just behind the front door. I believe they were taken over by CI and the Wanderer was eventually replaced by the Trailblazer.
