just so everyone knows on here exactly what is going on or happening. as of today no more panels or restoration work will be carried out through this company other than the vans which are currently in my workshop at present, these vans and these vans alone will be the only ones left to receive work carried out on them due to work already being started. once these have been completed over the coming months the doors will sadly be closed for the last time. if john or admin is reading this topic could you kindly remove the coventry commer panels web site from the forum as soon as possible. anyone else looking to have panels or parts made to order will have to seek advive from martin maltas at commervan spares ltd. i would just like to say a big thank you to those who over the last three years have been loyal and friendly customers thank you very much for your support and look after yourselves.

no it wont chris im sure of that. i have tried my hardest over the last few years to try and help people out as you know full well yourself. like when you came to my house and gratefully helped me out with the welding on my van all those years ago. when i awarded yourelf and tim with a number of free panels for being the first to turn up to the meet. your a grate frien of mine on here chris and i have never had a bad word to say about you or tim ever, and of course i will keep in touch. im not going to go away forever , but due to arguments and comments made last month about rival panels being made etc and now this crap going on i think it just best to let it be and move on. im going to let somone else take all the strain and financial stress for a change. so its good bye from me for now.;)[V]

Thats a very real shame, but for what it's worth he's always been helpful and has supplied me with some top quality panels. Some peoples views aren't positive (views which of course they are perfectly entitled to). But I think the reality is it's definitely a loss not to have the choice to use Mr Woolf. I like choice.

Woolfy, keep hold of your Commer stuff and leave the door open for those who appreciate you. I never got round to fitting the door skins I bought from you but I have no problem with the service I got from you, but if I had I wouldn't have embarrassed myself by bringing it up on here.

I suppose it can be hard to understand for some people Mark. Ever dealt with the family of a teenager who committed suicide after 'comments' were frequently made about them in public? They couldn't believe people who were supposed to be their daughter's friends could be so cruel. Spend some time with such a family and then you might get it.

Oh no!!!! Been a member of a few car related car forums, and they have all experienced things like this...Also had a friend in the same situation as Wolfie, who made fibre glass mini shells and panels. He did the same as you Wolfie and got fed up with all the hassles and comments, as a result everyone suffered.

I only hope as bazzateer suggests, that the doors remain open for people who want to visit. As it is, 50% of the panel manufaturers for these fantastic vans has quit, so we have 1 guy left. This won't help the rest of us when it comes to restoration time. Haven't used Wolfie and was intending to look at both guys panels...can't do that now...

Whilst not only sounding very patronising I think you clearly have not understood that people have been unable to get hold of Woolfy through usual methods ie, phone, text, email and have asked on here. I certainly do not agree with the airing of dirty linen in public and nor do I agree with ignoring clients who pay for a service and as your comment shows we can all only deal with certain things for so long before reaching a breaking point. There are two sides to every story, surely as a Policeman you are not ignorant to that.

when you say people have not been able to get hold of me jon via text email etc. none of you even needed to get hold of me, other than lee himself, which he did so on saturday via text message to my phone, after not being able to get me through the forum, because i hadnt been looking in for a while. all this crap about other people not being able to get hold of me is utter rubbish and you shouldnt need to be getting hold of me anyway if it has nothing to do with you.so dont try pulling that card.

Everyone else has left it now, apart from Woolfy and Baz so why don't you both just be quiet and leave it! Your comments are just as offensive as the dozens that you have edited!

Indeed it is, but offensive/abusive ones are not welcome and do very little to help the forum.
