The candle trick!

Don't know if this is common knowledge or not, but I discovered it today, and it really helped!

The candle trick is a way to get stuck bolts/nuts and studs out when they are rusted up. Basically heat the metal around the stuck item up and then touch it with the wax of a candle, which will melt, and enter any little crevasses. Let it cool, then repeat a couple more times, you should then find it much easier to remove your stuck bit.

Frodos manifold was so far go, I couldn't even see the heads of the bolts, just a mushroom of dirty metal, after a couple of weeks of a lot of swearing and plenty of wd-40, things hadn't got any better, then I read about using a candle, and lots of heat, and I got everything off! Manifold is now stripped down!

Good tip, the heat alone may have done the trick but the wax would have helped:)
