Hey all
Just thought i'd let you know how i'm getting on with the beast. (photos to come).
I have removed The roof which was really manky and rotten but looks like i'm gonna have to restore it if I can't get another although some cracking ideas coming in.
I have removed the old seats and lino from the back as well as some other random bits, and I have striped the cab down to the metal on the dash.
I have started the nightmare task of paint stripping. I'm using normal stripper and scrappers it's taking forever as ther are 4 coats of different paint! Anyone got a cheap quick way?
I have done 1 door and a wing. The bottom skirts of the van have been bodged with fiberglass, polly filler, riveted aluminium, a dead mouse and about anything else the last owner got their hands on. Unfortunatly it's all just covering rot, so i need to bin all the bodge remove all the rust ready for woolfys shiney new pannels when i get them.
Cheers all and i'll get some pics on when i finally figure it out.
