Avoid both. Fuel savers are a myth and by association if someone is flogging those don't trust other products they push (in my opinion).

Obviously from China or something with the English used and a seller name of Trevor Thomas

Don't know much about chips but 100% this is a fake, probably from an old PC Motherboard - just by saying fits petrol and diesel and 99% of cars. No idea how he has such a high feedback rating.

Go to a proper remap/tuning company - should cost at least £200 if it is going to save you 10%
I had a remap on the Disco3 and improved MPG by 10% - at least that is what the on board computer told me and I guess that would be easier to hack

Those fuel magnets make me laugh so much what a load of s#*@ and the best place for those chips in a box is in the bin. Problem is now all the diesel range of cars have dpf filters fitted and it involves the car using alot of fuel at certain driving conditions to carry out a regenaration on the dpf as you drive. Many of these plug in chip boxes stop this happening and then your in for a £1000 bill for a new dpf[:0][B)]

I have also seen these mapping chips priced at around £100 upwards ...I'll save my money!

The plug in tuning "chip" boxes are simple an open circuit box. I.e. The wire in and the wire out aren't connected. They plug into the inlet air temperature sensor (part of air mass meter) this fools the engine management into thinking the air going into the engine is at -40°C. This causes an over fueling of the engine enrichening the mixture. Combine this with a K&N and it will run OK. I have a 17 year old Skoda
Favorit SPI. This hasn't been beaten off the lights as yet.The easier way to do it is to save your money and disconnect one wire like I did. I wouldn't do this on a modern multipoint injection or diesel engine though.

I sorted my garage into 4 piles of stuff.
1. Stuff I`m keeping
2. Stuff I`m not getting rid of.
3. Stuff I might use..one day.
4. Stuff that might come in handy.

Nope because its so old!! modern stuff would probably suffer though.
