Tax exempt ??

Hey hey,

I've been hearing rumours about the age for tax exempt vehicles is coming forward a year? When I bought my van a few years ago the previous owner told me I was only a few vehicles away from being tax exempt so I'm hoping if its changed I might be on to a winner.

My van was registered in 01.05.1974

I'm told its not on the registration date, more on date the vehicle was made?? I'm only going from things I've heard here and there so could be nonsense

Any info would be great!!

Date of registration is irrelevant, it's the date of manufacture that counts.
