it's getting dark, i've had too much cider, i'm sure it's obvious to a sober person in daylight but:

Getting the sump off - i've undone all the bolts but it is fouling - do i need to pop out the central track rod ends?
 
Yes, drop them out and turn the steering arm to one side. While you have it off, go for the new type sump seals to prevent leaks.
 
Yep the three ball joints on the relay lever will need cracking to move the relay lever out of the way.

Martin - was going to use the sliquorice sticks and regular gaskets - do you have special ones?

The reason I'm dropping the sump is the endfloat is well over what it should be an i want to check the thrust washers.
 
Hi. What am I doing wrong?? The sump is fouling on the steering arm pushed to one side.
I’ve removed the track rod ends ball joints. I’ve removed the front bell housing cover also.
Tilting it side to side and it won’t come free.
Do I need to remove anything else?
