sucks to be me :( think i may have to sell up

hey peeps, its with a very heavy heart that i am now in a position where i am forced to consider selling my camper [V][V][V] as alot of you know since i got my new job over a year ago i have been absent from the group. i have been trying to find time to work on dolly and get her usable again but sadly my life has become so hectic that all i have done in the last year is start her up, once[V] i was happy to leave her until i can work on her again but she is getting to a point now where she NEEDS work doing for next mot and to stop all thework i have already done from perishing. im not sure what im gonna do yet but i cant escape the feeling that she is just gonna sit there until she rots again, and i REALly dont like that idea. the wife has surgested selling her, then saving a few grand to buyanother one that is already usable. the idea makes perfect sensebut somehow it dont seem right lol, what to do, what to do [B)] we need a bigger car and the cash would really help out but i know i will regret it if i do. on the other hand i will also regret it if she ends up a state again lol

I know this feeling! let a few things go over the years having done much the hard work......

However

If you do decided to sell then I might be interested as I'm on the lookout for a Commer!

Is there a thread on the work already done?

Sorry to hear you mat have to sell dolly, Paul. Like panky says is there somewhere you could keep dolly indoors until you have more time? I know myself how hard it is to keep all the work going, because mines always outside sometimes it feels like one step forward two steps back. Good luck in getting another commer one day if you decide to sell.

Wasnt somebody selling one of those tent garage things? Not a perfect solution but would deffo help out.

I sorted my garage into 4 piles of stuff.
1. Stuff I`m keeping
2. Stuff I`m not getting rid of.
3. Stuff I might use..one day.
4. Stuff that might come in handy.

unfortunately i cant find anywhere dry to storeher andeven if i did im so busy trying to get all my old debts cleared i couldnt afford to rent anywhere. she has been sat in my public car park for 8 months pretty much untouched now so its kind of forcing my hand. i either sell up why she is still in fairly good shape or i leave her there and hope she dont deteriorate to much before i find time. i did consider a tent like job but the local council would kick off straight away and i think it would get nicked anyway, either that or someone would use it as cover to break in and see whats worth taking lol. glad you found the thread choppit, quite alot to read through there:) the real shame is that i have had some real fun working on her and got more done than i ever thought i would [^] like i say its heart wrenching really but i think i have almost exhausted all my options now [V]

Try and stick with it Paul if you possibly can, it's not easy (or cheap) but you'll kick yourself if you sell, I've very nearly thrown the towel in numerous times but I'm nearly there now and so glad I kept going.
Hope things come good for you and your family mate. :)
