Stumped!

I'd start worrying if it drove itself back one night charred and smouldering;)

Summer's Coming

I wouldn`t worry, I would be pleased to know another enemy wouldn`t be bothering me again...and no more restoration worries as she would fix herself after her trips out ;)

Bloody Commer`s!

Silly question but did you try running it in the dark?
Bear with me here....
Could be a spark running away to earth.
Run it in the dark.... You'll see it better

I sorted my garage into 4 piles of stuff.
1. Stuff I`m keeping
2. Stuff I`m not getting rid of.
3. Stuff I might use..one day.
4. Stuff that might come in handy.

That was one of the first things I did and had it been a spark problem it would still have run on 3 cylinders after the head was replaced. It was defo something to do with all the carbon build up in the combustion chamber, I have not seen a head so coked up in many a year, the engine was rebuilt many years ago before detergents were added to fuel and it had not been decoked which used to be a regular service item back in the day.....showing my age now:(

Good to hear it's sorted, still a bit of a strange one though [xx(]

"You,re only supposed to blow the bloody SLIDING doors off"

Very strange and now I have blue smoke coming from the exhaust probably caused by decarbonising, I forgot to leave a ring of carbon around the edge of the piston crown, hopefully it will soon clear when the muck starts to build up again....or I add a tin of Wynns stop smoke ;) :D
