I see people write about freeing stuck clutch plates by giveing them the shock treatment but if you start the engine and run it for 30 minutes or so to get some heat into the flywheel ,then let it cool ,most times the clutch will free itself or at most require less of the shock treatment ,so less chance of ripping the linnings of the face

I used this method successfully the other day. I jammed the pedal down during the warm up. Came off first try, after many attemps cold
