Starter motor

I'm looking for a starter motor for my 1975 Commer Wanderer. They're not that easy to come by here so before purchasing one online I thought I'd ask around :I

There not easy to find? The later dodge ones are difficult to get but take your starter motor into your local motor factors and they can get you one as they were commonly fitted to LOADS of other makes models and manufacturers.
Alternativly try martin at commer spares.

Ah okay, Commer bits are hard to get here but I had no idea the starter motor was the same for lots of makes :I - I'm learning lots pretty quickly, probably because I've so much to learn! I'll hunt around for a starter motor tomorrow. Thanks a million Steve!

Think I may need to buy one off you if you're willing to post to me... It's not that easy to get one here.
The one I've removed is a Lucas 25242 M35-J and nowhere seems to be able to locate one. Can anyone tell me if there is another more common make/model equivalent?
