Hi guys - I'm back after a great weekend [8D] The weather was a bit dodgy at first - spent most of the time on Friday trying to keep dry huddled in the back of commeracers van supping tea and being fed by BMM's lovely Mum. It dried out later and we spent a most pleasant evening partaking of the local brew and generally putting the world to rights. Saturday saw the rest of the gang arrive and the weather improved throughout the day and was at it's best when we visited Steve Williams at Rusteration Land, what a mouth-watering collection of Rootes products he has. BBQ time in the evening and the plumes of smoke sprang up everywhere - I thought Tim had started the J4 up - and the smell of burgers and sausages filled the evening air. Every one met every one else, the beer and wine flowed freely and a general mingling went on till late.
This morning we awoke to a wonderful surprise - Easter Bunny had visited us and I was greeted by a little pile of mini eggs out side my little tent, my bleary eyes soon cleared as I stated to gather up my haul - until I was gently reminded by Chris that maybe they had been left for the kids to find:I. The subsequent Easter egg (and fluffy chick) hunt was a delight to see as all the little ones dashed around collecting their prizes. A cracking time - just sorry I missed the run to Western Park - see you all again soon.

Dear All, we also got home without a hitch. It was great to meet you all and put faces to names.
Our new trophy has taken prime position in our house and we will look forward to passing it on to someone new at the next meet.
Helen and I are working on a name for our autohome and will let you know shortly.
We found out that it had been raining constantly back here, so the evening BBQ we enjoyed was even better!
