The van has been garage kept from day one which explains its outstanding condition, it was never put away wet and was kept super clean, the appliances look virtually unused, everything works correctly including its original gas light which still has a spare mantle with it, and you cant buy them now! even the roof vent is still orange and has not faded to opaque white due to the suns rays ( when we get any sun that is ) The curtains and cushions are the ones it was supplied with and look as good as when they were fitted 45 years ago. To find a Commer Hadrian like this in its original unrestored condition is possibly unique, I have certainly never seen another as good and stepping inside it is really like stepping back in time to when it was new. The owner and his family looked at several motorhomes before buying the Hadrian including a Commer Highwayman and they insisted on spending a night in each prospective purchase to see how comfortable and practical each one was. The buyer of this Hadrian is not just buying a camper but also a little piece of motoring history as it was the last Hadrian built on the Commer chassis. I know I am going to regret selling this in a year or two because I kind of know I am unlikely to come across anything like it again.
