Spotted In Wiltshire/Somerset!

The good lady and I were travelling on the last leg of our camping holiday yesterday in Tulip when we saw another Commer driving towards us (the first time we've seen another Commer on the road outside of organised shows!). In my excitement I didn't manage to grab the camera off the middle seat, but did manage a big thumbs up.

It looked creamy white to me and much like Moley's coachbuilt, but possibly a Highwayman, and with the later smiley grille... the moment of ecstasy was over so quick, very much like the act of making love. Was it anyone from here[?] :)

I wonder who this other person was? They were more excited to see another Commer than I was!
 
I called in a garage to get petrol last Sunday near Oxford on the A34 on my way back t' north from Dorset and the cashier was convinced I had been in the garage the day before as he said it was the same Commer ??

So it could be your mystery one

I passed a very nice Tourstar heading north on the A1 this morning near Retford Notts....could be our mystery van!
 
The Tourstar was probably Bob Dover, from Co Durham. Very smart van :)

I think this is him, we met him 4 weeks ago at the Lincoln steam rally, he was heading off down to Dorset steam fair and then on elsewhere before heading back up north.

Thats the one:D I gave him a toot and a wave as I passed him.....in my Renault Master recovery truck, he was travelling very slowly and causing quite a tailback, probably thought I was moaning at him! :D:p:D
