Spotted in Bury St Edmunds

Walking into town this morning, turned the corner by the Rose and Crown into Whiting Street and saw this! :):D:p

I thought it was parked in a resident's parking permit area, then realized it was ok, it was on a double yellow line. No danger of a ticket, we don't have any wardens.

Good old OKU again :)

Seems to be in good fettle. There has been put a lot of work into this camper - both by current and previous owner. And so good to see that it lives on, and an active life too.

So where did you work and where were you walking from? Whiting Street is on my way from home to the town centre.

I used to live on Horsecroft Road up near the Spread Eagle pub, and work at WCP the architects on Hatter Street. My Mrs is from Bury, we met whilst I was working there, so we go back and visit her family regularly.

So you know Martin Whitworth and Matthew Stearn! Small world.

I live up near the hospital, on Barons Road, just across the water meadows.

Good grief, thats spooky, small world indeed. I only met Martin a couple of times as he'd retired by the time I started but I know Matthew well. How do you know them?

My work brings me into contact with all the local architects. I have worked with Matthew on many projects, mostly listed buildings. I have often mediated between Martin and the Conservation Officer! ;)
