There has been some talk in the past about methods of charging your leisure battery - this looks like a cheap, and proven, option.

That one is even cheaper, but you seem to get a bit more for your money with the ebay one - including fuses and holders.

WWW.HONEYFIELD TRAILER CENTRE.CO.UK Gloucester-01452 423871 Bristol-01179 637231 do a "RYDER" split charge relay kit, they are very reliable and dead easy to fit, cant remember what we charged for them when i worked there im afraid. hope that helps and if anyone wants advice regards them my number is 07867 858170 Nathan.
 
I just fitted this manual one in the box under the seat next to the batteries. Works OK with minimal wiring / effort.

Ok i maybe a bit dim, please can anyone enlighten me, Why do we not just wire the leisure battery off the ignition so its only charging when the key is on ? I understand that it may make a difference if your engine doesnt start very well as leisure will draw straight away but is that the only reason ?
 
If you do that, you can flatten the engine battery as well as the leisure one. So keep them completely separate.
