Not long back from spending the weekend camping at the Speke Hall Vintage show in Liverpool
Along with Bernie and Heidi in Gladys we braved thunder storms, blistering heat and the horse flies to entertain the public as part of the classic car display organised by our local car club.
Some pics.
Friendly Beddies, soon to be known as the Former Dormers as they are a little fed up with there current owners club
Bonnie flying her flags
Gladys looking funky[8D]
Some more interesting stuff
POWER
The same couple owned this amazing Lomas ambulance on an Austin Princess chassis, ex Hardy Spicer works unit[8D]
Lovely Morris Z
This Herald had a nice story. Owned by a little old lady from new (yes really, she was there
) who passed her driving test in it, Completely original in every way with not even a paint touch up, 34000 miles on the clock
A brilliant weekend topped off by Bonnie getting runner up in the 'Peoples Choice' for their favourite vehicle[^] She was pipped at the post by an immaculate, HUGE early '60s Cadillac. I told the winner that the public must have decided the winner on vehicle linear lenghth
