Close...for bonding a length of seal back in place on the new van that's come away a few mm, takes 24 hours to cure and is quite tough plastic. Hope this works as cant think of another way to do it. This is a fridge door test
 
That's far to clever for you. I hope thy're suction cups and not magnets;). Jam a lump of wood between the wall and the van side, you just need to build a wall in the right place:)
 
Yep suction cups I had lying around...that would be another option Panky there is a lamppost outside my house too. I need to do the same on the front also, not sure I can leave the van across the whole road from for a day :)
