I can't believe how many are creeping out of the woodwork [:0]

I think it's a PB, that has had a new front panel. The door mirrors are PB type and not spacevan [}:)] Being a coachbuilt, there is little else to go by. Reg is definitely too early for a Spacevan.

i was going to ask that question, very strange unless it had crash and the spacevan front was only one available to repair, if i bought it i would buy the remains of that one being broken on the forum a week or so ago and put it back to commer as the front looked great on that (must have been ripe underneath cos top body looked reasonable but guy said was beyond help)

Think you are spot on Martin-it's certainly a PB, got Commer door catches and Commer steering wheel. Looks like the front panel has been replaced with Dodge. If that is because of a front end shunt, then buyer beware!
In answer to the earlier query, the first Dodges came out in 1976 when they just had DODGE letters in place of Commer. Dodge front end with crap plastic trim from 1977.:D

The wheels look securely fixed, bags of room inside, could this be the on SantaHul and his burly mates are looking for :).

'Harvey the RV'

why is Ran 1977 with Dodge badge(not crap plastic grill)haven't seen many like it only a few [?] am I correct in thinking it depended on where they were being sold or export market?

"RAN"the van & N0.1

Campers often took a while to reach the road with having to go to the builders, probably why yours still has the lettering :)

Ha no thanks Panky. After the last one we've decided we're dodging the old fibreglass body jobby's once and for all. We've defo decided we like the look of the Commer Auto-Sleeper's (or similar). So we're avoiding Spacevan's and fibreglass. No rush though, we'll just keep an eye out.
