I could organize the September meet if nobody else wants too ?September 2011.
Dates ?
I'm thinking middle or late September like the 17-18th
Campsite ?
Unless anyone else has any suggestions I think we go for Woodyhyde campsite http://www.woodyhyde.co.uk/index.html it has 3 separate fields so in a quiet weekend we may get our own field.
How does that sound ?

As above, I'm with Tim on this one. Swanage is certainly nice tho. For several years I used to take my moggy to a meet organised by the Wessex Rod & Custom Club near Swanage. The local council would close the seafront road on a Saturday and let us all park up and put on a show for the locals and tourists. Maybe they would do the same for Commers if there was sufficient numbers??

Update for you; at Easter we tried to get into Tom's but it was full so we went to Acton and there was no one there (apparently the guy was on holiday) not much to see there, didn't look too flat either!
We ended up going to Woodyhyde which is pretty big but means you can get a spot on your own. I didn't go to the shop but others say they weren't very helpful so not sure how much luck you will have in sorting reservations/an event there. The fields are probably too big to simply reserve one too. Great site though witht he steam train going through frequently (only in civilised hours too!)
