We get shown to the camping field and the kids choose the camping spot - Feeling quite good at this point and we started to set everything up - Tent, Awning wind breakers all that kinda stuff after all we are there for the long Bank Holiday weekend......

ummm dont like this I thought

But wait whats going on now......as we began sinking into the ground!!!!!!!

Soo after a hour or so trying to get out of the sink holes we started finding gravel and anything we could to try and help

I managed to find a V6 Landrover and thought umm that should do the trick LOL and it did and we left behind these bad boys

so without any second thoughts we upped the camp and re set up in another part of the site................

BBQ evening tea went well and then the wind and rain started...

Few Beers in Abersoch went down well and then the phone rang - The kids who we had left at the site (we went to the Pub) to be told the awning was going to blow away!

Fast forward from a very bad nights weather - awning twisted and needing a little fettling everything wet through and then the farmer told us an even worse weather front was coming in today / tonight we decide to pack up (every this wet through) and Pootle along hone in so "interesting" winds!!!

We are home nice and dry now - wood burner is on and beer in hand

Bloody weather:( But Pootle looked after you, shame you made her plough up the field:rolleyes:

Gladys, Heidi & me are in field just out side Blackpool. Very wet and windy but after a couple cans of Fosters had a great nights sleep

See if you can stay on your feet this time:rolleyes:

Well escaped. We're sticking it out. Van rocked like mad last night. Most amused when Beci need the toilet at 0130. I offered to keep the bed warm!

Well back home now, and yes John managed to stay on my feet this time even though the slop was very muddy, but we managed to drive off no problems.

Well done, I'm pleased you had a good time. I'm going out for a night in my camper tonight as the weather looks ok.
